Hot Dog down a hallway

For any of the 660 gurus out there, did Stihl update their tank to upper crankcase AV mount design to use a different size screw?

The IPL shows that a standard m5 x 16 is the fastener to use, but those just slide in and out without engaging threads aka hotdog down a hallway.

I compared this AV mount to the one on my 064 and they slightly different. The one on my 064 I'm assuming is an older revision with a metal threaded insert (m5 threads in without issue).

What screw is correct to use with this style AV mount?

That looks like it uses the course thread bolt like the handlebar uses....

I thought that could be the case as well, but the coarse self tapping screw is too large to insert through the brass grommet on the tank unless I ream it out.

I think you have the wrong mount for your tank
