Honda GX160 problem

Have a Honda GX160 with a water pump that has developed a running problem. Starts fine and will run just above an idle all day with no problem. If you try to run it full throttle it will run for a couple of minutes and then quit. Will immediately start back up and do the same thing. Seemed like a fuel problem to me, I drained the fuel tank, changed the fuel filter, removed the carb bowl and cleaned it, and verified good fuel flow from the tank. Made no difference. Any ideas where the problem could be?

Start with unplugging the low oil cut off switch.
Replace if faulty.
