I got a chainsaw for sale, you looking?Welcome to the site bud. Tell everyone a little about yourself.
I'm trying to help you out bud. This is a site full of chainsaw enthusiasts. Trying to sell a saw on your first post doesn't usually go over well because there's alot of scams out there. Like I said welcome to the site bud tell us a bit about youI got a chainsaw for sale, you looking?

Yeah I'm trying to help here lolAgreed and coming out with a seaming attitude won't sit well neither.
Yeah I'm trying to help here lol
That is much better lol. I wouldn't imagine you'll have a hard time selling that saw here. Don't get pissed if you get questioned to death by potential buyers, it's the norm especially for a new guy. Good luck with your sell.My bad, I was not trying to offend anyone. I was unsure how to respond and was attempting to be funny, that is all.
As for myself and my presence on this site... I am trying to salvage what's left of my stepfather's passions. After his passing family members ran through his belongs with absolute disregard for what he held dear. I have been left with the task of clearing the debri. My mother was going to dump everything, as it holds no value to her. But I can not in good conscience Toss what I knew to be held dear... Such as his chainsaws. He cared for and nursed them as if they were his children, lol.
*My goal here is to find a home for this chainsaw. To find another like-minded individual that appreciates a quality not seen today, such as this chainsaw.
So thank you for reaching out, again, I apologise Michele
And I'm sorry to hear about your step father. I lost my dad almost 2 years ago.My bad, I was not trying to offend anyone. I was unsure how to respond and was attempting to be funny, that is all.

Questions I don't mind, hopefully I'll have the answersThat is much better lol. I wouldn't imagine you'll have a hard time selling that saw here. Don't get pissed if you get questioned to death by potential buyers, it's the norm especially for a new guy. Good luck with your sell.
Coincidental in that I want to sell a saw and posted one for sell? I don't want just any old schmo to get their hands on it. I prefer a buyer that knows how to maintain and care for this piece, breath some new life into it. Rather than put an ad in a shopper or local classifieds and some yuppie with to much cash scoop it up... I looked at a dozen other sites before deciding on this one and chose it because from what I could gather, you people seem to know your stuff.Yup, like Dave said^^^
Always throws up a red flag when you just signed up today and your first post happens to be selling a saw. Coincidence? You tell us....

Again, I want to apologise for my earlier miscommunication. You caught me off guard asking about myself.

Yes, but I have not located it as of yet. We had to relocate a trailer full of stuff to one of the back storerooms just to be able to move around. My priority was and is ensuring that HD's cars and prized possessions end up where and with whom he wanted. It's only now after the dust has settled that I am remembering and seeing so much more... Such as this saw. <3 I will post pics as soon as I am able.Welcome to OPE Michele!
Are there other saws as well?

I am see that now! I had not anticipated such a friendly atmosphere. The internet can be so sketchy, so I can understand ones reservations. It happens where folks hop on and just post saws for sale and folks on here understand. But there are plenty of folks taking stock photos from google or whatever and trying to steal someone's money. It's a community here and you'll find lots of folks who will care for it. Just make sure to check your inbox looks like Lee H already sent you a message
Not a problem at all. Good luck with the sale .Questions I don't mind, hopefully I'll have the answers
