So I've got a 372xt that I took apart and ported never really checked all the numbers but the exhaust and it's a little high at around 98 after porting it runs pretty good in the cut. What's weird at idle it is fine has to idle a little high, it will sit and idle all day long and when you pick it up the rpm drops and sometimes it cuts off. I have played with the carb settings and eliminated some of the issue but it won't completely gor away. I honestly have a couple saws that were ported by a well know porter that tend to do the same thing. I'm just trying to figure out what causes this. There is no air leak and the carb tests fine and the saw passed the vacuum test. It seems like it just seems to flood out when you pick it up. I've read a lot but still not sure what's causing the issue with 3 of the saws I have only 1 that I ported.

have you tired picking it up keeping the saw horizonal and then tipping the saw down so the bar points to the ground. If it's fine till it's tipped then you could have fuel pooling in front of the intake where the boot meets the cylinder.
