If this was on a mill would anyone se a problem with it?
Wouldn't the mill stiffen it up some?
I bought a 42” forester last year off eBay for 89$ new. It looks identical to @hseII s Oregon. Best choice no but for 89 bucks it will do, no more than I use one.Are foresters any good? Milled or laminated? Hardness? As cheap as an oregon 42" is $190 sounds good.
I do need a bigger bar just haven’t been able to put out the 3-400$ for one. 59” rollomatic was around 369 last I checked and the 52 was only slightly cheaper. When I was looking at cannons they were more money yet. I’ll get one eventually after I hopefully get some of my slabs sold.
190 seems dirt cheap, however that’s a monster bar for a saw of 90ccs

I have 394s an run strong 395s. I wouldnt mill with a 60" on them. Cross cutting ok... clutch won't hold milling. It is? A 395 will pull a 60” bar without too many issues.

I know they’re floppier but didn’t know if it would belly that much bolted in the mill, my 41” is plenty long to do any tree cutting i need to.The Stihl are too Floppy.
Go with the Cannons, the belly really stiffens them right up. I know it’s a pile of money, but it’s worth it.
Reach out to my brother, the most reliable, @definitivedave, & see what he can do on a Cannon for you.

I’d like to see a 395 mailing 60in and the chain still oiled by the time it gets back to the saw.

Best answer.Don't you just need a gigantic driver and an MS180?
3 tooth sprocket and low profile hyper skip chain.Best answer.

I don't know if Forester makes the platinum bars that long but I honestly believe they are every bit as good as the major Japanese bars out. I have 3 years on 1 28" and over 2 years on a 24" and 20"
I can't ask for a better bar for the money. The chain they sell has some catching up to do to be competitive in the market tho. Also when I quote years that's not sitting on a shelf or nail on the wall. I run about 20 cords a year firewood plus random stuff.
