I’ve shot PMC fmj ammo in 9mm, .233 and .308.
When it was cheaper to buy bulk factory ammo than reload, I bought a bunch of PMC.
Never had any issues. Better quality than the domestic bulk ammo at the time.

I use those in 115gr and the blazer fmj 115gr. Have no problems with either in any of my 9mm.

Have shot many rounds of PMC in .223 & 308 without issue.

I shoot PMC 115 and 124 religiously through all my 9mm’s (eight diff 9mm’s) and have no problems in any shooting the PMC loads.

A local place has it for $280 for 1000 rounds of 115 grain.

That's a great price!

My local place had it for 300 per 1000. 115 fmj. Best price I'd seen in a while so I picked up a box. Now I need to stop being so busy!

I'm the biggest recoil wimp you ever met, and I don't think the 6.5 needs a brake. In fact, I think a .30-30 with hard buttplate is more painful.

Speaking of which, I have my 1978 Winchester 94 some exercise today. Load was 170 grain Hornady over 30 grains IMR 4064, which has always shot well for me. This box of ammo was made with Remington large rifle Magnum primers just because I have a bunch that need to be used and I figured they would work well enough for practice. Wrong answer! At 80 yards they were vertical stringing a full foot.

I have read that magnum primers can actually push the bullet down the bore before the powder ignites properly, causing all kinds of weirdness. I hope that is all that happened, 'cause otherwise it means there is something majorly wrong with the rifle and/or the trigger puller.
:hollering:
Over the year's i've shot most of the large calibers out there
By far the most painful was a new england youth model 30/06 it was a hateful little rifle
I sold it the day I traded for it.

That's not bad at all Dave. 271 shipped to me.
I much prefer 124gr in the micro compacts especially
Not near as snappy as 115gr to me personally.

I've heard that from a few people. Never tried it because the 124fmj is usually 5 bucks more a box. Too much extra money to just shoot a pineapple.

Sierra rifle bullets are superb. If their pistol bullets are as good, then they are definitely worth it.
I agree Sierra rifle bullets are excellent. Their 168gr jhp bullet in .308 is the best bang for the buck, target bullet, out there.
My experience with their handgun bullets has been mixed. Accuracy is very good but expansion of the JHP bullets has been inconsistent with the Sport Master line.
I haven’t shot any of the V-crown bullets.
I’ve experienced good expansion with the 9mm Gold dot bullets from Speer.

A firm called High Tower Armory makes a Steyr AUG style stock for the Hi Point carbine. I can't explain why, but I really want one of these. Supposedly, a double stack mag variant is in the works. If it takes Glock mags that would be a license to print money.

About 95% of all my deer have fallen to the Sierra Pro Hunter or Hornady Interlock. The Sierra is super accurate, the Hornady is a little tougher and costs less. Now that Sierras are up in price almost 100% I'll probably be buying Hornady from now on. My favorite jacketed pistol bullets are the Hornady XTP. They expand more like a hunting bullet than the en vogue pistol bullet that turns into a sunflower.
