That really sucks! Hope you are able to get it fixed. It looks like a nice gun.
After I got the mags sorted out
I really like it
I'm keeping it but honestly the tx .22 is every bit as good of a pistol Imho
And I've shot 7 of them with no issues at all out of the box.
Accuracy on both are very similar from what I've seen.

Well, the Max -9 dilemma has a happy ending. I talked to a fellow on another forum who has one and has had to send it back twice for the same issue. Ruger's customer service was excellent as always, and dutifully repaired and returned the pistol quickly. He said that there doesn't seem to be any design changes in the new parts, and he is planning to trade it on a Shield.

I went by the shop to ask if they had any complaints on the Max 9. Turns out they had a fresh shipment of Bersa Thunder .380's for $250.00 each. I've always wanted one and probably never will see them this low again, so I went ahead and cancelled the Max 9 and put that money towards a Bersa.

Took it home and tried it in the backyard a little before work. My carpal tunnel was really acting up and killed any chance of good groups, however the bullets seemed to strike where the front sight was pointed and it was definitely minute of bad guy. Very good decision I must say!

That looks to be the same one i bought my mom in the 90s
Nice pistols
I'm trying to get it back from a friend that needed it after my mom had moved in with my brother.

I haven't found one yet
I zip tied the follower's down for a few days
And it cured the mag issues
They seem a bit oversprung and just need seated.
I shot a 325 brick of automatch with no issues at all even with mag dumps
and I can load all 20 rounds now.
My friend bought like 8 of those wrangler's
For his family when he's gone
I like the birdshead the best.View attachment 335552

I like that slab-side Ruger Mark III. I love the Ruger Mark pistols and grew up shooting a Mark I of my Dad's. My favorite of the whole series is the Mark II Government Target.

I like them too. The first handgun I ever bought was a Ruger mk1. I still have it.

Shot these a little today just to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice fighting for my right to do so. I respect, honor and mourn all those brave people on this Memorial Day, like I should do everyday.

We had a big Burris target rifle scope I can't remember what it was
on this one back 20 some year's ago
Just messing around
And was amazed how accurate it was
I out shot several .22 rifles at 50yds
It was just to bulky to
Use it for anything but a range toy.

At Sportsman’s Warehouse its been $15.99

Closest sportsman warehouse to me is 300 miles. :(

That was at my local gun store. They sell individual boxes for 17.99. everywhere else by me is 19.99 or more for 115 gr fmj. I was down to under 100 rounds so this set me up pretty well for a while.

I would think all you had to do after you got your stamp was remove the pistol endcap on the receiver and put on the rifle endcap with stock. As it begins life as pistol, a stamp would give you the option of SBR or non-NFA pistol. Speaking of which, I'm not much on tacticool firearms but that new HK SP5 looks really sweet and would probably appreciate in value.
