Looking at a saw for buy now on ebay but seller will only ship within Germany. I have parts or cash to make it worth your while. Shipping after the new year is of course not a problem. Thanks!

Well, after pressing the seller a bit he admitted the saw was stuffed full of aftermarket parts. But on the bright side @ferris and @Sauen restored some of my faith in humanity.

I am often on https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/ the German ebay classifieds site. Often due to Brexit, I will scrounge for all manner of things there.
And sometimes it is like trying to pull teeth to even interact with some of the locals, let alone ask them to ship something out of country. I dunno if it's wariness of the internet, or they feel it is meant to be a German commuity only site, or difficulty with language or what not but Germans on this site are the least likely of all people I deal with that will ship out of country, and I am not just talking saws either.
