Talking with a neighbor about heating the home in the winter during a power outage. Propane Mr Heaters came up, and I mentioned getting a Carbon Monoxide detector. Neighbor's mother after being questioned about getting a detector, said Oh, I have one. I shut it off and put it away. It kept beeping all the time.

I've reach out to this seller to see if they want to buy a jar I have of these wheat pennies. I use to collect coins, and had no idea they have become so valuable. I haven't counted but my guess is I have several hundred, maybe 400 of these pennies. I'm asking only $50 each.

And for anybody here, my selling price is $40 each, and because I'm such a great guy, I'll pay shipping.

Guy wrote back and said he might be interested at a reasonable price. WTF!?!? $50 is 1/20th of what they are worth (to him), and he wants a further discount. I'm just sick of people trying to take advantage of me. I'm going to post these wheat pennies online at HALF his price and undercut his ability to do business. A Certificate of Authenticity is being drafted. When someone makes a serious investment in a Wheat Penny, they want to be 100% assured that the penny is real, and not some Chinese Counterfeit coin. I'm making a single certificate with the date space blank and will have Kinkos mass copy this document. I will write in the Manufactured Date of the penny upon completion of a sale thereby giving the buyer full confidence that he/she is investing in an 100% Actual Bonafide Legitimate United States Penny. I should get the full $1009 per penny with this added bonus. $1,009 * 400 = almost 1/2 million.

I've actually gone thru a little more then 1/2 and have found some worth a few bucks. Nothing like the chart below.

Maybe I'll find a 1944 S Steel Wheat Penny worth $500,000. Whooohooooo. Or maybe NOT
