Well, there were those on the 2V engines. Then they had different issues where the plugs would separate on the 3V ones.I have one. Blew a plug out of the head once. Ended up costing close to a grand by the time everything was fixed.
I think mine is 2 valve, not sure. It blew the plug, stripped the aluminum threads, broke the coil. Over 300 for that, then started fouling the plug, took it back, found a hairline crack in the plastic intake that was caused when the plug blew because the coil was bolted to it. I haven't had much luck with Fords. I don't ever plan on buying another.have had my go arounds with 5.4 's also. but to be fair i have had plenty of go arounds with gm's and chrysler products as well.
