Hey Studs,
I have a minor issue with my damper handle.
It is a cheapo without ridges, notches, or divots where I can adjust my flue per say.
Yrs ago I hobo rigged it with some high temp baling wire wrapped around it and it was at least functional.
Yet, the extreme heat of course eventually killed that.
Currently, it only runs wide open(Eating copious firewood) or closed!
Does anyone have any experience, feedback, or suggestions on this?
Do I have to replace the whole damper handle or could a mobile welder just grind slots in it or weld some notches on there? Three notches and I'm GOOD!

Thanks,
Reg
