Favorite Under-the-wire Places to Buy Green Army Surplus Ammo Cans?

Time to consolidate, wife complaining about boxes of ammo everywhere. Who do you like to get your storage cans from? Looking for GI issue, seems to be pretty sturdy. Thanks.

Might want to check estate auctions. Back when ammo cans were cheap and plentiful, people used to store all kinds of stuff in them. I use empty plastic kitty litter buckets. They are really sturdy and the square shape holds ammo boxes well. Locally we have foreign made knockoff ammo cans that seem sturdy but kind of pricey for what they are.

I buy mine from a place called Burns Army surplus, in Rolla Missouri.
It's close to Fort Leonard Wood and they get a lot of surplus stuff from the Army.
I use the 40mm cans for long term storage.
