My Stihl FS55 lost compression a week or so back. I'm pretty sure I got over 22 years of service. Can anyone convince me not to go back with Stihl?

I was originally a stihl guy and went echo for a while and back to stihl when I bought my ms462. I have a fs56 that’s been great for 10 years or so, I almost pulled the trigger on the echo 3020 this year. I decided not to, we’ll see what next year brings.

Can't go wrong with either one in my mind. I have a FS56 and FS85 going strong but the Echos are catching my eye.

Can’t go wrong with either of the top 3. My 91R has a ton of torque and is a great trimmer, even with the 4mix engine. The Echo 2620 is a great trimmer too

Echo pro series. Got mine for five bucks with a busted intake a chainsaw munched top cover.

225 trimmer is a very good tool that starts every time but has that crappy twist carb deal. Light and reliable describes it best. Parked the others years ago.

Time to go trim now. Bet it starts right up. Parked since the fall.

I have the sthil combi system. Had it for 6 years now . Last lead I figured I broke even vs buying cheaper big box store version and it is still going strong as of today.
