Machined .015 off half the piston to create a domed piston keeping the exhaust and transfer numbers the same while gaining a few degrees on the intake.
Muffler opened up to 80% of exhaust opening

I’m getting a lot of excessive carbon buildup I assume from unburnt charge on the squished band as well as the top of the piston.

Am I gonna blow this saw up and is there something I can do to remedy this?

Also, does the wash pattern tell you guys some thing that I could be doing better?

Running Stihl premium two stroke at 45:1 with 94 octane pump, gas

Change the oil from stihl premium, or any stihl oil, use Husqvarna Xp+
or another good oil.

After doing that he will need his head de-carboned, I had no idea
people could be so cruel.

Over oil of all things too!
Toxic subject is oil, lots of opinions, I used to enjoy
them, until I had to flush my head out just to think about
anything other than oil.
On a serious note, I have read that stihl oil does not burn well
nor does it lube well, leaves very dry bottom end.

Of the 10 or so oils I have personally used red armor leaves the most oil film in the crankcase. When I pulled the jug on my 372 running red armor the entire insides were red! I have a 4 stroke gasoline burning RC airplane that I use red armor in because of the film I found in that 372.
