200 bucks is more than i want to spend. Have a good running 510 i want to upgrade to a 5105.
Hopefully someone will have a secondhand setup, there is a 501 near me for
200.00, and the price of potential parts is keeping me away.
Ironically Stihl and Husqvarna parts are easier to come by, and the aftermarket
is plentiful too, that’s what I don’t like about my favourite brands Echo and Makita, mostly only new parts, and they are expensive.

If the rest of your saw is good, at least parts are cheaper in the US.

Oh and plan on getting a new intake boot, the 510 I had was taken out but it and my 5105 needed one too.

Me neither lol.

Has the muff been modded on that?

Yup, ripped the cat out and got it all tuned up. Runs very well. Just want that extra edge!
