SOLD Display Model 262XP Never Fueled, Never Fired.

This is a saw from the lot of NOS saws I found last year. This was a display model that is new and in the box, but has been taken on and off the shelf so it's a little chaffed and chipped here and there. Still an excellent saw and very collectible. Comes with original booklet from 1993. Mahle cylinder and HDA120 carb.

Do yourself a little Christmas tiding and I'll wrap this and put it in the old USPS sleigh for Christmas.

I sold the others at $750 each, but since this was the display model, I'll let it go for $700 OBO. Paypal friends and fam or add 3% for the fee.

Wow, cool to see these still popping up every now and then.. 262 was a hot saw of its time, when I started working in a Husqvarna shop in 1999 we had one on the rack for sale, along with, if my memory serves me correct, a front tension bar adjuster 362xp. A couple other techs at the time took those new saws off the shelf and raced in the test log out back. Both with 24 inch small butt bars, that 262 was a click faster than its newer replacement. Boss was pissed about running those saws, so they were sold as demo units. I wished i would have grabbed that 262, as back then it was easy for me to buy a saw, the boss let me take saws and make payments on em.

I know Gunner....I shouldn't be throwing saws up for sale just before XMas, but I've been so flipping busy it was hard to find time to deal with them in the last month.
