i disposed of a lawn tractor, the cheap kind you see in front of depot or lowes. I still have the wheels to get rid of... the front tires were small, 8" I think, the rears larger and wider.
My dump will take the rubber and metal, but that means I have to get the tires off their rim. What's the best way to do that without hurting myself?

Remove the valve stem core or remove the stem completely. A few crowbars and you’ll be able to free them from the rim. Cutting them is another option but would probably take longer.

five minute mark:

Doing the back side of the bead works just as easy. On smaller tires you can easily cut the bead with shears or bolt or cable cutters.

I have manual tire machines with good 36" spoons, so, not so much drama because they have bead breakers, but, the vise trick works.
