On Echo weed whackers and other small stuff, what is the dimensions of that skinny black hose that runs from the fuel tank, through a grommet, and up to the carb? Is that 1/16 of an inch or smaller than that? Thanks. I'd like to get this stuff in a roll.

Junk Meister: What is 90014? Is that a grade of hose or it an Echo number? Thanks.

3 x 5 is normal for most chainsaw applications. Weed trimmer line might be smaller, I’m not certain.

Has anyone used 3 x 6 Echo line in a 3 series husky tank or is it way too big?

I will double down on your question. I remember reading somewhere that Echo line was not as prone to sucking shut or collapsing but I am wanting to use it in my 3 series (and Jonsered) saw instead of paying For the cute lil piggy tails. It is frustrating to put a line in and have the fuel leak when the saw lays on its side.

I will be trying it out in a week or two and will try to revisit this thread with results.

Yes 90014 and 90015 are both Echo numbers I have read that you want the real McCoy not the AM crap... You will notice the difference in short time.

Don't know if it will fit but my experience with 3x6 is that it is way too stiff to allow filter to move around in the tank.

No ill affects

3x5 fits. Doesn’t leak, but it’s not really tight enough. I figured 3x6 was too big

I used the 90015/3mmx6mm on my 2152 and it fit nice I blew trough it wit no restrictions but I it does seem stiff (post 11) and I think when I get it running I will find out if I can use most of the tank of mix or if the "stiff" only lets me burn off the top half. I am going to get a different filter 'cuz the one I put on is fatter than I want to see and may not lie as close to the bottom. CZED (post 12)You say no ill effects = my question is about how much line did you let dangle in the tank? I kind of guesstimated as the tank is off so I flopped and flipped the tank around as I watched how the filter moved around. I think it won't drain the tank dry but time will tell. I have several of these Jonsered 21 series I am kind of working on all at once and the length might become an issue , Should leave an excess in the tank until I get it figured out. The roll of 3mmx6mm had four sections of 90 " pieces. that caught me off guard vendor listed it as 26' and box stated 26' got more than expected.
I put a bit of WD40 on line outside of tank and pulled and stretched the line through without much trouble (The stretch made the hose
This 2152 is getting a new OEM top end, and I am waiting for a carb kit. will be a while before I have it running.
The work bench is full of stuff and my freezer Lid has 4-2159s'and a 359. I have a 345 and a 2150 needing these fuel lines as well .

Enough for the filter to lie horizontal
And reach both sides of the tank
It will soften a bit when immersed in fuel
All of mine flow fuel from any position.
