Need a starter cover for a David Bradley model AH47 it has 4 holes in it to mount to the chasis. Helping out a local dealer who has a cherry saw from the 1950's only part missing is this.

AH47 is the engine, not the saw model. You might need to get the saw model o get the proper starter. It is very likely that it is a Fairbanks Morse starter though.

Strange it said model AH47, but I will try and get the other numbers on the saw tag as soon as I can, and a couple pics as well.

Pics would be awesome. A lot of the older saws used a Fairbanks Morse starter though. It is very likely that it will be one of those that is needed. Finding one in the color you want it to be may pose a challenge though. Nothing a little paint won't fix. I will suggest you kill this thread and post a new one in the parts wanted section instead. I would also put starter cover in the title as well. Right now people that see this thread in the list will think you are interested in buying a David Bradley chainsaw.
