Crack repair. MS360 . Need some advice

I would post pic but I'm doing this from my phone and it's a pain.
Fully stripped down ms360, crack is about half to 3/4 way through in the thinnest section of handle assembly near the dog bone/front end. I've heard from a buddy to epoxy the crack then epoxy sections of thin aluminum on both sides of crack. Tight budget now, or I would source a new handle. Also heard AM handles have fitment issues, or I would just buy the farmertec handle. I'm keeping the saw FWIW. Let me know your thoughts.

If they are a plastic handle I would try some good quality super glue on it first.

The problem is that you are probably dealing with HDPE plastic. There very very limited glues or epoxies that will bond to it as it is highly chemical resistant. Can be welded but takes experience to do it well. You probably better off getting a replacement assembly and save your hair and nerves.
