Cost on 3/4 wrap for 500i

Is the wrap for a 500i really that dang expensive? Local dealer quoted me nearly $200! It’s for work or I would be looking for a used/second hand one.

That's one thing I hate about Stihl. Full wrap handles for huskys are a fraction of that cost for current models!

I bought four at my local dealer for a member here - almost two years ago. They were $144 each at that time.

Mine was $150 from the dealer, but that was giving me a break on price since i bought it with the saw since he couldnt order a wrap handle saw and had a 1/2 wrap saw in stock. List price was $179 or close to it. Stihl wraps aint cheap for sure

Exactly. I think the kit for my 395 was around $60 shipped.

I priced one for my 462 a while back. Dealer quoted me $155. Should have pulled the trigger on it, saw a new one on ebay going for $200 plus shipping. Same seller listed it for what the dealer quoted me around the same time.

I'm debating selling the whole saw and just buying an R model.

I talked to my local dealer on Friday about a wrap handle for 500i - they quoted $190 and they cannot guarantee availability.
