I got my bow out this year and was looking it over and noticed that under the limbs ther is a plastic looking part that is coming apart. Anybody know what this part is called so i can see if i can get one made. Its an old jennings so parts a probly non existant.

I know i should just upgrade but i like the old girl, and im cheap.

I'm not sure what they call it, but you will need a bow press to replace it, so you may as well give a call to a local archery shop.

Just part of the limb pocket is that a single limb or split limb bow? My eye won't focus on the pic. Whats the model and poundage?

Its a jennings x master el. Yes it is split limbs. I do have access to a bow press but i figure them parts are probly no longer available and will need to be custom made. That bow is quite old now lol.
I did shoot it a couple times and shoots fine but i will have to use the xbow for now. Dont wanna ruin it.

So, is that that actual piece that is breaking, or is it a noise/vibration dampening gasket?

Well its been awhile but buddy of mine 3d printed some parts for my bow. Got it back togeather. Took about an hour to figure out how the strings went but got it figured out. My pics i took of the string routing were not worth a crap lol

Pulled it back a few times and all seems good so now need it to dry up or freeze so i can shoot it. Yard is a mud mess now
