Hello Everybody.
Recently, i have received a Zenoah chinese saw, 52 cc, that for cleaning my garden and make some firewood it 's ok.
But, im interested to gave some extra power, and make some modification:
4 mm raised discharge port, and 2 mm lowered intake port, that give a little more power.
Now im interested to piped them !
There is some advice to make them ?

( sorry for my bad english, im italian )

Welcome to the site
I opened up a 58cc zenoah clone
Just simply widened the exhaust and intake some.
It ran good.
It's been cutting firewood for a year now.
My friend's only saw.
Good cheap light saw's
Mine was hard on the clutch after i modded it though lol

I agree with you...
Is a low cost but onest chainsaw, i find better this ones, instead a chainsaw from local hardware store, that cost more.

I see some video of piped chainsaw on youtube, and the curiosity to try on my chainsaw is high !

@Fruecrue just made a good looking pipe. He might know the formula for making one.

Read the two stroke tuners handbook by Gordon Jennings.
The principles and mathematical equations are all there and worked well for me.
I chose a design that would give me a wider power band and I kept engine rpm to a reasonable 11k. Chain speed can always be gained with a larger drive sprocket.

I have the 62cc version (supposedly 62cc it has a 45mm bore) of this saw. I wouldn't go crazy with power on the thing the clutch is pretty weak, at least on mine. I think before you pipe it you'd want to upgrade from the tiny 13mm venturi carb to something more appropriate. I have a ZAMA knock off carb for a husky 365 on the way that should be pretty close to bolting in, only needing to drill a hole for the throttle link and maybe run longer mounting bolts for the carb.
