How do you guys store your saws? I don’t mean long term I mean where do you put them when they are not in use? I want to updater my situation here and remove these old warped shelves. There has to be a better way than this and I’d like to use this section on my barn for now. Thinking of hanging them maybe vs a shelf setup but open to suggestions, thanks!

It appears that the 3 saw plan automatically kicks CAD into gear with no hand brake or e-brake available.... 🤣
It turns into 10 3-saw plans real quick
My interpretation of a 3-saw plan is: You get a saw, You like it, You get two more of the same model, repeat

cardboard works but wood is better
I utilize discarded carpets, also soaks up oil and makes for a soft cushion between saw and whatever I place it on.

All the saws and other ope get stored in a shed that was built out of my mill waste and scrap roofing. Saws are within walking distance of my Spruce saw log timber sale and my privately owned acreage of birch for firewood. Some saws just get left permanently out at the various cutsites: full wrap 4910 and a 590 loaned out to my cutter.

Nothing too crazy, maybe one saw per 150 saw logs and 60 cord of firewood.

I tend to buy stands of timber more than I buys saws.

No walls.
and not sitting on concrete:rolleyes:
I dont want them nasty things burping out gas fumes, bar oil and wood debris all over the place. Let em breath, let em fade.

Somewhere out there in the woods behind the cutsite is a 4910. Hopefully I remember to remove it before the dozer cuts that next road. The fkn cab lizard won't crawl out of the dozer to move a lowly echo. Hes a stihl guy.

I’d come out there just to cut in those woods with you, man. That would make my year.
