First hand experience?
Wanting to know how your saw ran before and after matching the case mating surface to the cylinders mating surface.

Seems it would increase case volume, but one could always match the surfaces, while limiting the amount of material removed but wondering what others have experienced.

And if you've done this on any other platforms, id also love to know your results.

I tried matching one. Ended up grinding through into brake area and had to JB weld it back closed. When I was done it didn’t run any better than those that I didn’t touch the case. So I gave up on the idea
