Bought a small zero turn mower. Did I get a decent one?

I was wanting a 42” zero turn so I could haul it on my 4x8 trailer. Someone had a Yazoo Kees zero turn for $950. I offered $650 and he countered with $700. I went to get it and he had to jump across the solenoid to start it. I bought it anyway, and it turns out the ground wire was disconnected. The mower runs good and I ran it for 1/2 hour and didn’t have any issues. It does need new blades. It has zt-2800 hydros which have the wheel motor and pump as 1 unit, but it is serviceable. This mower is a 2006 model and most parts are available through Husqvarna. Did I do okay on this mower? Fits on my trailer nicely.

I sell Gravely, a ZTXL-42 with the 2800 hydros and a Kawasaki engine will run you about $4200. You never know how a used machine was treated or what might go out next. The only thing that matters is that you are happy.

Everything works fine, I just need blades now. A new set was only $32 shipped

That is very true, but I’m a tightwad and bought a used one. I hope it ends up lasting me a few hundred more hours at least. If something breaks, I’ll just have to fix it.
