Very impressive. I wonder how much waste they have? You could see where they scribed the outline of each board on the end of each split piece, but it looked like a lot. I guess where they are though you could never have enough oak firewood!

I wonder if there might be any similar videos of the Indigenous cedar builders of the pacific northwest. About an hour or so north of us at the Ottawa museum of civilization (I think it's called) are stunning examples of structures built with even simpler tools. I think elk horn wedges and stone tools?
I think I will hold on to the 394 for now, though.

I've adzed a lot of oak for log house restoration. Definitely a young mans sport.
Should sell those tools to the groupies for big bucks.
