Just picked up this machine this morning. It's pretty cool. It is a Bar Shop Machine used for resurfacing chainsaw bars. Not much research out there on this machine. I guess it is considered rare.

Nice score. There's a few out there, and available from time to time, but not seeming to be a lot.

Have a large pile of in opt antique/ vintage chainsaws coming out of this place as well as parts, specialty tool and much more. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Can't go wrong with that!! The bar resurfacing machine looks like it will also shorten fingers if you want it too!!

The re-groove section looks different than others I’ve seen.
I want one with the bender press 😀

Any old poolans in the shop?
yes, there are. Cleaning up the saws now and categorizing with model, serial numbers. I am considering doing an auction. Will keep you updated when finished with the light cleaning and serial numbers. I am not allowed to be selling any Items on this web site until I meet the administrators criteria.

Here is a small taste. # 32, # 66, # 306A, #245, two # 361, a couple of the micro saws, one has the red trigger and red switch. All saws are being sold as parts or repair. Some have compression not all have been tested. Some are with straight bars and others have bow bars. Still in an inventory process.

Nice score. Looks to be in good condition.

There were some Bar Shop threads on Arboristsite, which might have some information, if you are interested, or members that you can reach out to with questions.

Also, search under ‘Barshop’, and on YouTube:
