Bar oil holes plugging with chips.

I have a new 20", 3/8" Tsumura bar and Oregon chain on a fresh modded 55 Rancher. 7 tanks of fuel through it and the chain tightened up 3 times. The oil holes in the bar plugged with chips. The oiler works good. I am cutting up dead spruce and red pine. Do I have a problem with the bar, or is it the softwood or something else?

I have one tsumura that does the same thing. Put it on a different saw,still plugs up. Have several other tsumura bars, no problems. I have yet to spend the time to investigate why it does that, just tend to not use it in favor of the others.

I just read your post again, mine actually plugs up the oil gallery on the saws. But only with that bar. Weird.
