I bought a bunch of parts to fix a few chainsaws. I just opened this:
Husqvarna 390 XP 385 Jonsered 55MM Cylinder Piston 2188 2186 544 00 65 02 Item NO: QG38555
https://www.huztl.net/h-product-detail.html?goods_id=402847
The piston pin bore is oval on one side and instead of it being 13MM wide, it is 14MM wide on one side and worse, it is not aligned with the other hole, as seen in the pictures. The pin does not fit in too. I would assume something such as this would not pass inspection anywhere, but, I guess not.
Pretty sad that the Husqvarna OEM piston which had minor scoring and is at least 10 years old, is in better shape then a brand new in the box piston.
Anyone else had any problems like this in the complete saw "kits" that are sold? I see no option other then returning it. I do not think I can buff this defect out.
