While reading about the chapter 11, I learned they are partnered with club car and are going to devote more to "R&D". Sounds like an all battery future like it or lump it or even if it does not make sense.

Yes, though probably most of the machines run on 3 phase 480v. I have skipped a bunch of stuff locally because they ran on 3 phase 240.

Most briggs stuff is made in chi-com now, I live by Milwaukee Wi which was the main location for everything back in the day. that plant at its peak covered dang near a sq mile. Many acquaintances worked there for years. labor unions, epa and poor management led to their demise. Briggs management got hooked on the corprate buying craze back in the 80's-90's, that did not work out well for them.
