I have thought about tossing some "oddities" in a box sometimes but figured the folks not see my odd sense of humor.

I will say tossing a empty carpet shampoo jug in a box saved a Pioneer P-60 once though..........

Damn long trip though...
Years ago on a Saturday morning I told my son we were going to go to Nebraska to get a saw. He was always willing to go on a saw hunt so he was eager. Well all day we dinked around here on odd jobs and I figured he would get wise to what was going on. I was waiting for him to ask why we had not left yet. Now mind you the Nebraska border is a 600 mile and nearly 10 hour round trip. We finally take off around 3PM. As we are heading out I-80 and approaching the Iowa Speedway at Newton IA just off 1-80, he looks over to the track and says "awe Dad there is a race tonight, I wish we could go sometime". I just start laughing as we take the Newton exit. I look over and say "Son we are going to the race. Did you really think I would wait until 3PM to leave for a 600 mile round trip to get a saw". It was a great night. It was an ARCA race and I had bought the tickets online the night before. They were running a "guys night out" special. It was $25 for two tickets, two Cokes, and two hot hogs.

well, false alarm...It seems fb, which I rarely use at all, decided to delete my acct at the same time Comcast decided to drop the email addy associated with said acct. In trying to reestablish it they wanted a selfie and a bunch of other BS, so, fug it.

If someone in the Salem area has access to fb, check Marketplace and chainsaw parts and see what pops up. This was a pile of nos older Stihl parts a guy is/was selling. I'd love to have it but it ain't no big deal.
