I don't know much about drones but the one I've messed little with is neat takes real good photos It is fun to mess around with I didn't realize how easy to handle they are.

Looking forward to this next wknd, if I don't have to work, gonna give the new Spitfire MkIX in the first pic, a run. I had a Spit MkXIV that the ESC failed in...I deadsticked it...all the way to scene of the crash. Was coming out of a loop about 300 feet off the deck when I lost input control. Needless to say, gravity got it real quick. Was able to scrounge the servos, motor and prop shaft as well luckily, pushrods, control horns, landing gear, etc...but the plane was demolished. How it goes sometimes....gotta pay to play.

I fly a Synergy E5S (stretched to 626 main blades now, as in second pic) and a Synergy E7SE with 716 mains. Working on piecing together parts for a 806 config. I use a Futaba 14SG and iKon flybarless units. Steep learning curve but very fun! :)

Hey man, how ya been doing? Was wondering when you were gonna jump in this one. All going well your way?

I know a guy who just jumped to a Gen 2 DX18...he might be cutting his DX8's loose on the cheap and he keeps his stuff in immaculate condition. I'll try to get with him this week.

Agree on the P-38...like to have one. Been eyeballing a 14.8V 4S, F-6F Hellcat to add here lately but who knows.

Don't you fret young man...if he's gonna cut them loose on the cheap, and he probably will, I'll pick both of them up, and send you one...we can work out details later in the future when it's better for you.

A couple of my nephews wanna learn to fly, and even attempting to buddy box them on the warbirds is outta the question, except for maybe the T-28. I sprung for an E-Flite Apprentice S15e in BNF with AS3X and SAFE. Right now HH has them $20 off from $249 with the FOAM promo code, then enter another 10% off code for purchases over $99, and you walk with the best 59" wingspan trainer on the market, for $206 and change...with free ship. Can't beat it...and a far cry from the trainers we learned to fly on.
