The idea just "popped in there"

Was looking at skid plates and though why not just coat the bottom, and the rest of the saw for that matter, with some new hi tech super space age nano stuff to keep my new saw looking new.

With Stihl's circling around like a dog wanting a treat and Husqvarna's rolling over on their side wiggling like a fish in the bottom of a boat, I can see where something like this would be sought after. Taking a look at the products viability of pulling off such an idea is another story and after some Googling it would seem not up to the task of this magnitude, I will let you read for yourselves and make up your own minds whether or not to try such a venture. Lol there’s usually golf balls too. I hit them so there’s none left in there. There’s no purpose for it

Well that makes me feel better. Thought maybe I was missing a new trick that involved a golf club. I have a couple dozen golf balls here on the farm, wife painted them tan, and drops them in guinea hen test nests. They think it is the new laying spot, so we get to steal the eggs. Haven't had to leave the chicken area yet this year to find a guinea nest.

I'm prolly gonna Duracoat a clutch cover.
I have a blast cabinet & BIG oven.

20 years refinishing firearms, I have zero doubts it will hold up to saw use.
