I'm looking to sell this very tidy original redlight 066 still with the original non-decomp Mahle jug and working red-light ignition system (and no it hasn't lost its limiting RPM - it still limits at exactly 13,500rpm). The reason for asking the question is that I was going to list it on our local auction site here in New Zealand but it sort of rankled with me that some average firewood hack would pick up this rare saw and thrash it when someone on here could savour the saw for its true worth. I picked the saw up from a friend after the local Stihl dealer said it wasn't worth fixing as he had managed to lean seize it. I managed to carefully clean the plating up (exhaust side only)and have installed a new Meteor and OEM little end bearing. I have also split the case and replaced both the mains and seals (Hyway seals - we pay a fortune for genuine Stihl parts here in NZ). I also checked shipping and its not too bad! I'd need to clear $760US Paypal friends and Family INCLUDING shipping to the lower 48 for the PHO. Is that asking too much? The saw runs beautifully and easily outperforms a stock MS660. Very happy to post further pics and video if anyone is interested. BTW I'm a genuine guy, as @huskihl , @Deets066 and @Gaston should be able to testify.

So, you tune them a half turn leaner than when the red light starts? EVery saw should have that feature, then you wouldn't need auto tune. Just tune the saw till the light comes on.

That's correct. I think the light comes on at around 12,000, it then goes out as you lean it out.
