It was on the shelf for 399, which I obviously would have payed in a heartbeat!! I hid my excitement very well and began negotiating. I ended up at 340!! I think I did WELL!!
You practically stole it. They go for 500 on my craigslist

There was a set of climbing spurs next to this that looked like they had been used a couple times. Looks like another case of someone that wanted to be a climber but didn't realize how high up trees are! The remnants of the sticker showed me it was not used much but the little bit of the QC stamp left on the bottom of the saw said hardly at all!!

I fixed two of these saws that were both basket cases. Both needed new top ends, new rear carb housings, new chain, and one needed a new carb. Missing screws were everywhere. My fee was $125 apiece. The owner quickly paid. Now I know why.

Thanks for posting this jewel.

My pleasure! Not too often you stumble across a nice one! I have one that was redone by Lonewolf and it runs amazing! Just isn't as pretty as this one!!

Our closest pawn shops would probably price it almost like a new one...I never go in them anymore for saws.

Pawn shops are trying to get rich selling chain saws. They know that many of them seldom get used. Marketing people call most of them emergency goods. Many become shelf queens.

Anything a pawn shop has is negotiable .They always start way too high but most will dicker .If they don't walk out the door simple as that .Keep in mind most try to double or triple what they have in it .
