So install a grease fitting so you can fill it with one of your big guns.

Small fittings have 1/4-28 thread, I use a 1/4-28 plug tap as the grease fitting threads are tapered like a pipe thread.

This gun has been in my saw toolbox since about 1977.

Very good idea.. I've been filling mine the hard way. Did you Drill and tap or use a nut to secure the fitting?
Thanks

Drill & tap. 1/4-28. Use a plug tap. Small fittings are threaded 1/4-28, tapered threads, hence the need for the plug tap.

A standard tap set includes three taps: Taper, plug, and bottom.

Taper is for starting, most guys call it a starter tap.

Plug is for sealing, like pipe threads, hence the name plug.

And most of us know what the bottom tap does.
