Looking for a replacement cylinder/piston to fit on 7900-7910 Dolmar

Looking at a unit with bad upper / good lower

I am open to whatever topend would go on it. I'm not familiar with what all fits.

Maybe some take offs where another unit has been upgraded to the 7900 top and you have good cylinder/piston left over and don't have a use

What is a ballpark value of a PHO 7900 with bad upper?

thanks

About $2-250 if the rest checks out ok. I have a new OEM 6400 cylinder if you want to go that route. But you would need a piston. By the time you bought both of those, you would be about half of what it would cost to buy a new 7910 piston and cylinder kit

I have a good used 6421 p/c you can have for shipping if you decide to go that route.

You da Man
Is that 64 cc?

thanks

Yes, 64cc. I would still spend the money and get the 7900 or 7910 p/c. It's a pretty heavy saw at 64cc performance. 79cc top will pull a 28" full comp chain in oak like it's nothing!

Depending on what you are going to be using it for the big bore doesn't seem bad for the money. I have one of each and unless you time them with a stop watch you can't feel that the 7900 is a little faster. I have a 6401 too and it is impressive for only being 64cc

Apparently I won't be striking a deal for the saw I was looking at so I'm not really in need at this time.
I do appreciate the responses.

If You don't need or want it is it OK if I snag it given Steve agrees?

Only if you send me those starter housing decals you owe me! :p
Trust me I did not forget, but I also did not yet receive the 6100 sticker I already purchased.
I am planing to place an order, I will include another sticker and ask about the missing one.

I have the other sticker in my stash, but I don't want to send two envelopes unless You insist.
