A little add on to the Canned Gas thread - VP C9

Im probably splitting hairs here, but its what we do with saws, right?

Im helping a friend of mine remove some large trees this weekend. I thought it would be a good time to give the canned gas a shot and see if i notice any sort of difference - at the very least, no ethanol is a plus. In the canned gas thread Sunoco Optima was discussed, around me i can get VP C9, which in talking to the store, is the same thing as Sunoco Optima, just VP's version.

Do any of you know anything about the VP C9, or have used it? Anything you liked/disliked about it? I cant find anything online that says explicitly that you can, or cant, mix it with two cycle. I use Maxima K2 at 32:1 in my saws.

Sunoco Optima is the same as VP’s SEF

C9 & C12 are more performance based fuels for higher compression engines

Can you mix it with every two cycle oil?
Or do u need some special stuff?

So i decided to call VP tech line directly. From the VP tech rep directly - there is ZERO issue mixing C9 with two cycle oil.

I've only used the VP SEF.
