The white one even though it is tighter or denser is the same or higher cfm than the green one. I was told that the green one is getting phased out and the white one will replace it.

How is this possible Jim? Larger pore will flow more CFM, it's just how it works

Is pretty simple when it comes to technology you don't comprehend. But don't ask me, ask the stihl dealers and max flow reps who tell this.
But after being told about it I'd venture to guess it's made from a different material that is more breathable allowing a tighter pore. ;)

I've never had mine look like that. But I knock the hd2 out at every fuel up. Just habit. But looking at this, I would say it's required to knock out at every fuel up.

Unless you get a max flow setup! I'm at 25 tanks on my test, with no fines getting through at all.

...yeah you just can't tighten the 661 single turn cap down like you can on say a 660 setup. (not an issue with the design of the max flow setup)
