Most husky saws are pressed in. So you can take a punch and knock whats left into the oil tank and then inset a new stud from the oil fill hole using a magnet and a long punch to drive it home. Or use a spacer and pull it in with a bar nut once you get it poked through.

This advice was spot on and much appreciated. I thought that the old stud was broke off, but it was intact in the oil tank, so I used a magnet to get it in and then tapped it back in. Back in business!
