4mm 044 case half advice

I have an ad posted for a 10mm flywheel case half and I have a response ! The question is that I have a 5mm starter housing and this case half is 4mm! Can I run a 5mm tap through the bolt holes vs. trying to find a 4mm starter housing? Advice requested.

I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t drill and tap the holes to a M5 just so long as there’s enough supporting material which imo there should be lots of
