I have found two different part numbers for the full wraps for the 372xp. My question is are they interchangeable or one a higher quality than the other as the first one is twice the price of the other. Does the kit with the spikes fit the x-torq?

522593201 says it's for the x-torq only

588846302 is the kit with the spikes and says it fits 365/372xp

Gizzard/Kevin mentioned to me to message you about a set I bought recently. I purchased the 588 84 63-02 part from Baileys for $29.99. They fit prefectly on my x-torq 372. They are still that price and also sell the kits for the 576 and 390 for the same price. Been wanting a set for a long time and glad I made the purchase. Great OEM quality. They came with the over sized spikes but I chose not to use them......they ate up too much of the cut for firewood needs.

I am not a logger. I do not fell many big trees either, I just cut firewood and often I like the big saw for discarded logs from the local sawmill. I occasionally visit logging sites to cut firewood from the left over trim pieces. These handles feel good on the saw and though I cannot speak from a production standpoint, I'd say they would hold up well. They make it a little less convenient removing the clutch cover and not quite a straight shot to the chain adjuster but I would still so it again.........especially at the price. The part number seems to be the key. Other OEM kits are still the normal price......no idea why this kit is so cheap. I asked a rep from Baileys about that and they said "some OEM kits had be discontinued and they negotiated a kit price so that they could continue to offer XPW combos". I have also found them at this price from other retailers.

You can get those kit's with that part number at any husky dealer. From my understanding they are offering the kit's since they are no longer offering west coast models off the shelf

Thanks guy! I jus didn't want to get a bar that would fit or pay twice as much for the same part! I would get it from my local dealer anyway, they and I have a very good relationship and always treat me well.

Another thing of note is the handles on the x-torq saws are a little larger diameter than the older series. ..Something to think about if you like something larger in your hand. ;)

Works fine on an older model, I have one on a 371. The older brake handle is 1/4"-3/8" shorter but an x-torq brake handle is $15ish if it bothers you.

I'm confused about the brake handle. Is there a clearance issue? I will be putting this on an x-torq model.

No issue with handle, kits are made for the X-torq. Older models have brake handle that is a tad shorter but work fine.
