Has anyone ever done one? I guess that's something like 82 or 83cc's on the build. 54mm bore 36mm stroke. It appears the 385 jug will match up well enough to appear as a stock 372 when done. The poulan pro 505/jonsered 2083 is 54x36 and is a damn good saw but not a quad port version like this would be.

Mattyo was gonna try it but hasn't gotten there yet as far as I know.

From what I've seen you're the man for the job Jim!

Daniel up in Canada did it about 8 years ago. The wrist pin is the problem with it. Have to bore it out. His ran ok for a little while before something came loose.

Never heard of this before but do remember a guy out west that did a 357 with a 272 topend. Helluva runner

That guy did some creative stuff but. His forte was not finesse.

If I remember right on that build he cut the ears off the jug and set squish with his belt sander.

Possibly. I don't remember the details completely. The build was on racesaws.

Would a jonsered 820 windowed piston work. I've pondered with another member about putting a 52mm 820 cylinder on a 460.

Daniel (Canadiancarguy) did some pretty wild stuff. I think remember another build was an 084 top end on a 395 chassis.

How does the 385 on the 505 look? Be nice to find something similar to the 445 cylinder

That's my thought- 385/390 top end on a 2083/505 chassis. I'm going to do a 372XT top end on a 475 chassis at some point.
