The good old 372 is now officially NLA from Husky. System had been accepting orders the last couple months and posting way out ship dates. But all those orders are now canceled cause the saws aren't coming. Warehouse up here hasn't had any since Sept when I got my last order, which was the next to last order to be shipped. Got a tip at a meeting it might be my last chance, so got back to the store and did an order the next morning. So, whatever is in the field is it.

So for fun, we pulled out the price list from Jan, 1998 when the 371 and 365 were replacing most of the 200 series saws. The following saws were listed as "discontinued; while supplies last" :61, 246, 242XP, 254XP, 257, 262XP, 268, 272XP, 281xp. Sure would like to do one more order off that price list. :)

This is a big day for Husqvarna - as much of a flagship model as the 272 was, the 372 is that much bigger.

Wow! The XT is going and I have been dragging my azz on pulling the pin on two new Swedish built 372 oe's.?

Although the 371 never hit the the shelves in Canada until spring of '96, It's said it's an 80's design.
30 yrs old technology and I'm going after it...Because what else makes sense?

End of an era for sure.

But it ain't over! It ain't ever really over.

So the value of my OE just went up right?

End of an era, beginning of a new!

OE's been more desirable for a while IMO. I'm still thankful for the one you helped me get.

The 372 died with the end of the OE production run imho. The XT should have been called the 472. Good saw, but a different feeling saw than a OE. I’m a OE fan myself, 50mm single ring ftw!

Any rumors about the Redmax/2172 and if it will get a replacement based on the 572? I know, nobody probably cares anymore. Lol
