I'm building a 372 and I can't figure out where these parts go. What are they for?

Thanks, that makes sense. What are the hoses for? Something to drive me crazy?

I don't recognize those hoses, they were probably to protect the threads on something.

Are those tubes to large to fit in the carb
Mount holes?
Oem are hard plastic tubes
Believe you are correct, they do not give those little red tubes away. Some one found a tube size that fit.

You guys were both right. Thanks for the help. I had to center the carb with out the tubing on the bolts so the choke would work. Now I don't have to do that.

Should there be bushing on the crankcase here? There is a bolt hole there. I am out of bushings.

That is where limiter bolt goes. Bolt with no threads on end of it. No bushing.

Between 4 or 5 models that have those vs how many have fallen off by the time they get to me, I can never remember which ones are supposed to have the rubber bushings on them and which are left without

Clone saw?
If it is get the oem oring it's very thin to go on the clutch side to prevent air leaks.

Do not want to start that bolt pissing match, have repaired both brands with loose bolts. Blue thread locker solves most of those issues. Not a porter like you, just restore. Hard for me to understand how people spend 800-1800 on a new saw, never clean air filter, clean saw and throw it around, never check bolt tightness, run dull chains, rim gear run until they split in half. But then again I don't cut for a living, know a few that do, one cleans saws nightly and makes sure chains are sharp. He maybe an anomaly.

Wasn’t referring to loose bolts, just the rubber bumpers are sometimes missing. Was thinking you might know which models used the bumpers vs just the bolt.

Yes. @Czed is talking about o ring that goes on clutch side crank to seal, crank and oil pump bushing.

Last kit saw I bought came with that little o-ring that goes between the crank and that funny bushing thing that seats in the seal. Is the ft one just *s-wordty?

I looked at the ipl when I was putting it together. The IPL showed the bushing, clutch, clutch drum etc. It didn't show the o ring. The o ring is shown with the crank, crank bearings, seals and the bushing is also shown again. The husqvarna ipl is a little weird. Was the o ring already on you bushing?

Mine was in a little baggie with the crank seals. It's very small. I think i watched a video once and the guy said they were hard to find and some parts diagrams didn't include them or they were in the subscript. Also said that some of the bushing things had a flanged ends that fit better in that depression in the seal, thus eliminating the need for the o ring. Not sure if there is any truth for it or not. But if you don't have the o ring in the kit, I would ask the dealer if they had any handy.

Might just have to get one from a husky dealer then. If you watch the video in the link he talks about it some

I'll pull the clutch tomorrow and see if it is there. If not I'll get one. Right now the saw is 99% farmertec, expect Stihl bolt and nut that was not included. I was going to run it a little and see what needed upgraded and get it all at once.

I built 2 of these farmetec saws last week. This and a MS361. I already have a farmertec 440 and 660. I'm anxious to see how the 372 cuts in comparison to the 440.
