Looking for a couple of loops of 36rs. Want to try 3/8 chain on my 084. Thinking 114 DL. Local Stihl dealer said it would be weeks before he would see it.

Thanks for the offer. But I do believe you are across the pond. Not a deal breaker but would like to find someone in the states.

I am not exactly sure what my DL count is yet. I am converting a 30" bar. I think around 98 DL is what I am looking for. From some digging around, most seem to say add around 6DL to your .404 DL count. I just threw out 114 as more of a starting point. I knew I would have to break it down to get it right. I have presets already.

Why not accept/consider Andrew's offer, seems reasonable priced to me.

I can get RS locally, got myself a loop of 3/8" (8 pin, 82DL) and .325" (9 pin, 92DL) for my 24" PS-9010 mount hard nose bar.

Good luck on sourcing what You want. :)

I just might very well do that. I am a bit gun shy buying stuff from out of the country with great covid plague going around. Bought some nos 084 parts from Australia and it took 2 months to show up. Not to say that would happen again. But it has me awful hesitant.

I can relate to that, as a sender.
The last two boxes I sent out over to the US took 2-3 weeks, but a box prior to that took about 2 months.

Recently there were no flights from Germany to the US, as such the German post office apparently refused to take packages destined for the US.
I was told at the Croatian post office that this can happen with Croatian flights at any time without advance warning, but for the time being shipping from Croatia to the US seems to work OK.

yes I can see your concerns about shipping I’ve had the same problems
Over the years
shipping would be 10 working days air mail or 5 working days FedEx
