346xp OE vs 346xp NE?

So I regret selling my 346xp NE and am in the market for another. Question is, how much better is the NE vs OE or the other way around?

They run very similar. That said, the NE has a little bit more torque I noticed.

If you can find an OE in good shape, grab it. Much easier to find a NE cylinder to try vs finding an OE cylinder to try.

Both are good, 45cc mahle + unlimited coil, the cutting speed is ok with a "short" bar / 325 chain. Of course safe max rpm's for forestry work. No air purge bulb

I believe the OE would be better for limbing or smaller wood. The NE would likely be better suited to slightly bigger wood due to its bigger engine

True, though both are great all-around small saws.

Haven’t used either....

You should fix that.
