Anyone compared the two? Any notable differences?
Thinking of refreshing my 340 16" with either one, and matching bar.

TIA

Husqvarna X-cut SP33G and Oregon 95TXL both are narrow kerf. Stihl is following with RS pro in near future.
So I assume you would want a narrow kerf bar?

I have not compared them. But I think we are the winners when the top tier chain companies are competing like this.

Now is this the same as picco chain I hear being run on some 50cc saws? If not is that a better option?

'Picco' is just STIHL's name for 3/8 low profile chain. This is narrow kerf, .325 chain; made popular on a lot of Husqvarna saws.

Well I have a bunch of limbing coming up due to some large ashes being taken down on my property, so decided to just go ahead and order 2 18" X-Cut chains and a 18" bar as well. Gives me a hair more reach than my standard 16" on the 340.

Hopefully a little less bending over haha.

I bought from Amazon, and the links to that cant been shown here I guess.

Chains arrived, waiting for a X-Force 18" bar now. Interesting with the sealed bearing on the nose sprocket and such. No greasing..

The same chain that came with the 18” bar on my new 550XP Mark II. Haven’t cut with it yet.

Sprocket tip gets its oil from the saw’s oiler. That’s why you can wear out the sprocket tip quickly if the saw’s oiler fails and you keep running it.
