Has anyone used the Oregon chip with the existing coil and been successful. I tried to no avail.

Has anyone used the Oregon chip with the existing coil and been successful. I tried to no avail.

The sem ignition was prone to failure but if I recall correctly these are the same as an 056 Stihl and a guy on eBay sells reworked or new set ups for about 80-100$ depending how bad you want it running. That is if you haven’t found a fix already since you asked
